I know I’m in a sort of “competition” (if you can even call it that, he’s got like a billion percent of the vote, Truth and Charity has like negative 2 hehe), but I had to share a link to something Fr. Z. posted over on WDTPRS.
Apparently, some folks in VA decided to conduct a mock Conclave, complete with, as Fr. Z. points out, tons and tons of red birettas.
I sense the possibility of a cottage industry, making birettas for American seminarians and clerics.
Seriously considering saying, “Challenge: accepted!” right about now. 🙂
Anyway, here’s the link: WDTPRS Mock Conclave
Enjoy!

Oh, that is great! Almost makes me wish my kids went to a school that cool 🙂 My boys both proclaim that they would give up the chance to get elected pope in order to dress up as Swiss Guards. My oldest has been drawing events of the last week constantly. And he is, at the moment, driving around the house a remote-control model of the “Pope’s Helicopter” that he made.

Wait–this is a co-ed school! How did they get away with this? Very cool.
