Welcome back to Le. Rheims for this weeks edition of “Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real.”  Since it’s still pretty darn cold out around here, we spent most of the week indoors.   I suppose that’s a good thing, since it’s still technically the middle of the school year, right?  More time inside equals more school work done equals more time off in summer, or at least that’s what I keep telling the kids.

All right, let’s get this thing started.

Tiny little piece of a blanket I just finished. I'll post the whole thing in a later post. Love the colors and the texture.

This little one loves doing her schoolwork. Everyday she asked to do her work, and, sadly, many days I end up shoving hers off to the end of the day and it doesn't get done. Finally it hit me: get hers done first. Light bulb moment. This is her doing what we now call "Pajama School." Right after breakfast, while everyone else is getting dressed, we stay at the table and do our work. So happy!

Read them Caps for Sale for the first time. They loved it. Thought it was hysterical, because of course it is. The monkeys, throwing down the caps -- hilarious.

He's helping with the lunch routine, learning how to make the PB and Js. Love that he wears this green Luigi cap all. the. time. He's 7 and a half and it's getting real what a big boy he is.
